What are the hours of the festival?The 2025 Festival will take place the last weekend of September. Friday, September 26th Saturday, September 27th Sunday, September 28th Check back here or follow our Facebook and Instagram for updates as we get closer to the event!

Is there admission to attend the festival?No. It is free to attend the festival!

What happens if it rains?The Festival will take place rain or shine, but make sure to follow our Facebook and Instagram pages for updates.

Are dogs allowed?Yes, but please make sure they are leashed (6-feet or less), well-behaved in large group settings, and that you pick up after them. Please refrain from bringing your dog within the main tent and/or vendor area.

Is this event wheel-chair accessible?Yes. The festival grounds are wheel-chair accessible. Handicap/accessible parking will be available near the intersection of Anthony Street and Main Street, just outside of Spartan Pizza.

Will there be a persons with disabilities priority time slot for the carnival?Yes, we are hoping to do so, but will know more as we get closer to the event. Please continue to check our website and social media pages for up-to-date information.

Will there be bathrooms available?Indoor bathrooms will be available during regular business hours at E.D. Locke Public Library and the McFarland Municipal Center. Portable toilets and handwashing stations will be available on festival grounds.

I'd like to volunteer for the festival. How can I get involved?We're always looking for volunteers to help throughout the year of planning as well as the weekend of the festival. Contact us at mcfarlandfestival@gmail.com to get involved!

Where can I park my vehicle?Street parking will be available on most side streets all around the festival grounds, though we highly encourage those who are able to walk or bike! The Lutheran church, United Church of Christ, as well as the elementary school (CEPS) are great options as well. Handicap/accessible parking will be available near the intersection of Anthony Street and Main Street, just outside of Spartan Pizza.
